I’m a health nut, and there too many supplements out there that I don’t know if I need to take them.
I’m 23/M taking One-A-Day All Day Energy multivitamins, and I just bought some fish oil.
Please explain thoroughly what I need to be a natural Superman and save the world!

you cant survive on supplements alone. the biggest thing is what you eat. the only thing i can suggest is soy protein powder

You need to eat healthy, mostly…they say that supplements are good, but the vitamins & minerals that you get from food is usually better.
For example, broccoli helps to prevent cancer, carrots help with your eyes (beta Carotene), Tomato sauce is good for your colon, Ponegranet (sp?) juice is good for your prostate, grape juice and red grapes are good for your heart/blood, etc.
Whey protein is good, but then there’s also soy protein, and many other types to choose from…really all depends on what you want to get out of it.
But if you’re into supplements, then you appear to be on the right track. One a day is good for your age, and the fish oil is big now. Omega-3 & flax is good, just be careful not to take too much, for some you actually can O.D. on. So no matter how many vitamins you take, you’ll never increase your immune system to that of Wolverine’s.

For a healthy 23 year old with no diagnosed deficiencies, this should be fine with these supplements if you are eating a balanced diet. I might suggest a higher quality multi- Flora makes a good one. You could also add an omega 6/GLA supplement like evening primrose oil or an Udo’s oil blend. You could add an antioxidant supplement if you want to, but this should be fine.
